Red Hat Certified Security Specialist (RHCSS)

 

NOTICE

 Red Hat Certified Security Specialist (RHCSS) has come to end of life on February 28, 2014. The status will no longer be available from March 2014. Henceforth, the below mentioned modules and corresponding examinations that were part of the RHCSS program is also not available anymore.

 Candidates who have already achieved the title, will continue to enjoy possession of the status as long as they keep their RHCE current.

 

Red Hat Certified Security Specialist (RHCSS) is an advanced-level certification programme which is also purely based on the performance.  It enhances the students with their capabilities in network services security, directory services, authentication and Security-Enhanced Linux policy management. An RHCSS certified IT professional has the capability to meet the security requirements of the present scenario. 

Prerequisites

  • To be an RHCSS, one should earn RHCE credential.
  • Current RHCEs will obtain RHCSS certification upon successfully passing all the three expertise exams.
  • All the expertise exams are performance based.

Course Duration

Duration of each module shall be 4 days. The intake to each boot camp is only 6 candidates at maximum.
